1994
Founding

RUS Industrial begins as a specialized electrical service provider for the upstream energy sector, laying the foundation for a future built on a self-performing contractor service.

2001
Service Expansion

Recognizing the evolving needs of the industry, we expand our capabilities to include industrial fabrication.

2008
Further Service Expansion

We strategically extend our reach to serve midstream and downstream energy customers, solidifying our position as a go-to industrial construction contractor across the energy value chain.

2010
Major Milestone

A major milestone is achieved with the completion of our first major downstream project for Golden Pass LNG, a landmark $10 billion joint venture between QatarEnergy and ExxonMobil. This showcases our ability to execute complex, large-scale projects.

2013
First Renewable Energy Project

We successfully complete our first renewable energy project, marking our entry into a growing and vital sector.

2014
Facilities Expansion

To accommodate our rapid growth and enhance our fabrication capabilities, we triple the size of our Channelview facility, investing in a state-of-the-art pipe fabrication facility to better serve our clients.

2019
Dedication to Safety

Our dedication to safety is recognized with our first Texas Mutual Platinum Safety Partner Award, placing us among the top 1% safest companies in Texas.

2020
Project Execution Excellence

We demonstrate our project execution excellence by completing the ExxonMobil PPW turnaround ahead of schedule and without a single safety or quality incident. This outstanding performance leads to a 4-year maintenance contract for ExxonMobil's Baytown technology and engineering complex.

2021
Expanded Renewable Energy Services and Safety

We expand our renewable energy services to support the growing trend towards a sustainable energy future. This year also marks an impressive 6 consecutive years of a 0.0 Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR), highlighting a sustained culture of safety.

2024
30th Anniversary and Safety Excellence

We earn a second Texas Mutual Platinum Safety Partner Award, reinforcing our position as a leader in workplace safety and a trusted partner for clients who expect the highest safety standards. We also celebrated our 30-year anniversary.
