Responsible for preparation, review, and approval of project quality documents including welding and Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) procedures, job procedures, quality plans, work instructions and other quality related documents. Develop and maintain project documentation system including preparation, preservation, compilation, retention and submission of inspection and test reports including ISO documentation. Ensure all products supplied and/or services provided to customers meet their requirements, statutory and regulatory requirements. Responsible for inspection, welding and NDE functions. Maintain all required Codes, Standards, Specifications, Procedures, and other documents. Interact with Customer’s Quality Representatives, Third Party Inspection Agencies (TPIA) and the organization’s Corporate Quality Department to discuss/resolve quality related issues. Prepare for and represent the organization during all internal, customer and third-party quality system audits. Prepare, maintain, and review validation and compliance documentation, such as engineering change notices, schematics, or protocols. Prepare detailed reports or design statements based on results of validation and qualification tests or reviews of procedures and protocols.
Requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and 5 years of work experience as a Quality Manager.
